The sound grew louder as the sunlight began to erode her pupils waking her senses alive. Panic rose within her as the sound thundered around the room, the place that she had once felt safe, yet now the defenseless young child was shaking uncontrollably, curled up into the fetus position under her parents bed. Images flickering through her mind, gory memories of visions that no one should ever have to envisage in their lifetime, especially a seven year old child. Bile rose from her stomach, making her dry heave before it's bitter contents spilled through her esophagus and out of her pallid mouth. Once finished, the shivering wretch wiped her lips with the back of her hand and more terrifying memories came back to haunt her. Yet no tears came, nor no sound escaped her mouth. Fear had taken her voice away, just as those intruders had taken her life away. Not her physical existence but everything else she had lived for, butchered, taken away from her in seconds. Tobi lay hidden in her makeshift cavernous hidey hole as streaks of seemingly innocent green lights causing an emerald spectrum of beauty to fill the room, taking the life from her Mother and twin sister.
