General Personality:
Remus is shy to say the least. He is afriad to let people know him because he doesn't want them to turn him away like his parents did. Being a werewolf is a curse and he has almost hurt quite a few people. He trust only a few, those being James, Sirius, Peter and sometimes Lily, but she is a girl... he gets nervous around girls. Remus is way trustworthy and reliable. He won't spill secrets and he always finishes what he says he will do. He is always there, a good friend. He is a good friend.
He is smart. Very smart, probably the top of his class, but he really does not pay attention to things like that. He is the kind of person who everyone comes to for help on homework, and he always gives it. It is a wonder he is in Gryffindor, because he seems to fit in better with the Ravenclaws and their smarts. Sometimes, he doesn't see how brave he is, it makes him wonder why he is in Gryffindor. He loves to read and his long term goal for Hogwarts is to read every book the library. His friends may scoff but he is getting pretty damned close.
Remus started out very very shy. He still is shy, but in the six years he has been hanging with the marauder gang, it has gotten better. You could say that James and Sirius rubbed off on him. His one downfall is his inability to talk to girls. He is good looking and smart and so sometimes, they like him and he doesn't like them. He basically afraid of the opposite gender. General Appearance:
For a male, Remus has sort of long hair.. It is a reddish brownish dirty blond color totally unique to him. He usually keeps it tied back but when it is loose, it falls almost to his shoulders. He is lanky, but not a twig, that would just be unbecoming. His eyes are a golden amber color with flecks of green and they have a somewhat feral look to them. They also lighten and darken with his mood. His skin is well tanned from spending a lot of time outdoors during the summer. He is usually clothed in jeans and some shirt in earthy tones, this reflects his calmness and wish not to stand out. Dark greens bring out the green in his eyes.
There is a sort of shy smile on his face at most times, but every now and again you get the full out grin, which just brightens up the already appealing features. He has straight, white, if somewhat sharp teeth and medium sized ears that might have been considered a bit small. Sadly though, he has a rather tired air about him most of the time, with dark purple circles appearing under his eyes near the full moon. Light scars mar is body from eleven years of the wolf. There are three scars from where he had been bitten. One on his left shoulder, one on his right hip and one on both sides of his left forearm where Fenrir's teeth had bitten all the way through. Other than those, there is only one scar that stands out from the other ones. Remus was born into a normal half blooded family. He was a happy little boy until one day, he was camping, the muggle way, with his father. They were collecting sticks for fire wood. It was the full moon and they happened upon a werewolf. Mr. Lupin took his five year old son's hand and began to run, trying very hard to get away. Remus' small hand slipped from his and he lost him. The man searched all night for his son but didn't find him until it was too late. The boy had been bitten, several times. His father beat himself up for years, but it really did no good. His son was a werewolf and there was changing that.
From then on, Remus was locked in the shed every full moon and his parents never looked at him the same again. He beat himself bloody every full moon. Wolves don’t like to be a lone and Remus was very alone. He would wake up the morning after covered in scrapes, bruises and blood. It was not a happy life to live. He was happy when the letter came. He was given a chance to get away from everything and although the werewolf problem would still be there, he didn't have to deal with the scorn and disappointment from his parents.
During his first year, this shy boy met James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. They became his friends and he managed to come out of his shell at least a little. At first he hid his secret from them, but disappearing once a month and hiding a secret like that caught up with him. When his friends found out about him being a werewolf, they did not turn from him like he expected. They remained his closest friends even though he was a wolf. . Now, at 16, he is less shy and although still passive, he is ready to take action if needed.-----------------------------------------------------
