The job system for adults on VH is leveled. This means that the quality of your job depends on your activity, post count and creativity. The more posts you have and the more creative you are, the more likely you will get a hire level job. If you are just starting out, it is more then ok to start with a lower level position and work your way up. No offense to anyone who is new, but you can't start off by being Minister of Magic, even if that is where you would like to eventually be.

1. Teach lessons and oversee the class that you have been picked to teach. 2. Create a minimum of 5 lessons and one final per term. 3. Be active at least 3 times per week unless on vacation or leave. 4. Award/deduct house points as needed. 5. Be creative. Got the Position? Here's what you do next:

*Nurse: Your job is to care for and help any students and staff who need medical attention in the hospital wing. Unless contacted for help in a thread elsewhere in the school, your job specific posts should stay in the Hospital Wing.
*Librarian: Your job is to take care of the library, and help manage the work posted there. Unless contacted for help in a thread elsewhere in the school, your job should specifically take place in the library.
*Caretaker: Your job is specific to caring for the animals in and around Hogwarts.
*Groundskeeper: Your job is to care for the grounds. You will also be in charge of keeping an eye out for spam, at which you will contact an administrator to handle the problem. Got the Position? Here's what you do next:

To hire on help as needed. Right now, each shop has 1 position open as help. If you 'need' or would like more help, notify Emma Jackson so she can post a position for you. You must also approve anyone who wishes to be a worker in your shop before they will be accepted for the position. 5. Be creative. Got the Position? Here's what you do next:

They have the ultimate authority as to what can happen/be offered in the shop. 5. Be creative. Got the Position? Here's what you do next:
1. Continue to exhibit the qualities that earned you the position. 2. Start thinking about your character and their duties. Get creative but be realistic about your job. 3. Start posting! 4. Understand you may be let go for any reasons without warning or explanation. 5. Follow all guidelines set by the admins. 6. Don't forget to ask for help when you need it.

These positions generally don't require you to do anything specific or roleplay on a specific board allowing you to be creative with it.
