How often should i clean the white stones? Should I scrub them after each use? every 2 or 3 or 10? I use Barkeepers Friend, hand wash them. Dry them with paper towels and then let them air dry overnight But I don't know how often I should do this.
Also, i only use the corners. I have yet to develop the skill to sharpen on the flat side of the stones. When I'm finished sharpening a knife, it passes the paper cut test using paper from a old phone book. They also will pass the knife on an angled Sharpie test. So i'm know how to get a good edge using only the corners.
