[Main Admin Account]

• All members place their email addresses on PTD and we ask you to please respect that and not use their email or send spam to it.
  
• Any rude behaviour on this forum will be dealt with harshly. This includes all other human rights which was agreed upon when you read the TOA when you signed up.
  
• No spamming/advertising your site through the private messaging system. We have an entire board for you to advertise on and we're more than happy to let you advertise in your signature on the board. Sending PMs with the soul purpose of getting our posters to sign-up at your board is an abuse of your account. If you are caught spamming your board in private messages, you will not be given a warning.
  
• Members must respect professors, or people that are of higher status than themselves.
  
• Professors cannot punish other professors. If you have a problem with how a professor is acting, then talk to Dumbledore. We will punish as we see fit.

• YOU CANNOT POST UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN SORTED!
  
• You may not post twice in a row, you must edit your previous post.
  
• Please DO NOT post in the Headmasters office, only staff are permitted to.
  
• Spam me - Is for spam, spam all you like. Try to stay on topic, but it is not to serious if you don't, just don't abuse it to much.
  
• No "flaming" other people. A flame is when you say something insulting directed at another person. This is a friendly place. Please help us keep it that way.
  
• Don't question staff in threads. If a thread you created was locked or deleted, don't make new threads asking about it. If you want to know why it happened, PM a member of staff and we'll happily answer your questions.

• Apparition is only allowed to be used by those with an Apparition License and not within Hogwarts school, which is covered by security spells.
  
• You are not a creature unless you have been accepted as one. You must apply to be one either in your initial application, or by speaking to one of the Admin
  
• You have to stay as close to Harry Potter theme as possible, this means no made up creatures, you need to respect members with status (prof or heads) as you will face the consequences.
  
• You may use spells that are on this Link!
  or Spells that have been accepted within the Spell Registry listed here!
  
• You cannot actually rp die, so please no committing suicide posts!
  
• No horcruxes!
  
• All RPG posts must be minimum of ONE paragraph. A paragraph must have 5 sentences, at least.
  
• No webspeak. That means that you may not use shortcuts to write your words. All posts need to have proper grammatical, punctuation and capitalisation usage.
  
• Make sure you type your RPG'ing in third person. Example:
  Andre walks up to Kailen. He waves at her, and says "Would you like to join me in my walk around the school?".
  
• Keep things real to your character. For example: Act like a student if you are one, and stay appropriate to the age. You can't have all these powers that make you invincible. Try and stay true to your house. If you are Slytherin many are nasty though you all don't have to be, if you are Hufflepuff you are not known to be brave or strong, just try and keep it real!
  
• Absolutely no sex threads between adults. If your characters choose to become intimate, black screen please. Proboards must be PG-13 or we will be closed down.
  
• Try and keep relationships real, no Professors dating students, that kind of thing and no under age intimacies! (Legal age in England is 16!)
  
• No God-modding/taking over other people. You cannot say what other will/won't do.
  
• If you want someone to go along with what you are doing, PM them, and ask them if it is OK.
  
• If you can't contribute to the storyline, then don't post.
  
• Read the entire topic before you post in it. Make sure you know exactly what is going on.
  
• Be CREATIVE!
  
• HAVE FUN!

• If you wish to play a canon, Please stay active. We will expect at least 2-3 RPG posts a week. We do not think that is too much to ask.
  
• If you choose to play a canon adult and they have a job (for example Professor McGonagall is Tranfiguration Teacher, Gryffindor HOH and Deputy Head) we will expect you to rp IC that you are all these things but this will not mean that you have admin powers or any rights to give or take house points. Also you will get first refusal on the class job when these are open.)
  
• No Twilight names. On other sites they have been flooded with them. Please, try and be creative and original.
  
• Your birthday must be correct, so do not lie about your age. This is to protect you.
  
• The website which you are allowed to place in your profile must be your own.
  
• No multiple aliases. Your IP address is logged for a reason. If you create multiple accounts, please make sure you can keep them all active otherwise we will kindly ask yo to delete some. Basically be sensible guys, if you have a lot of time and can be active with three characters then by all means have them, but if you have little time and feel that you will only be active with one, stick with one. It is never too wise to spread yourself too thinly.
  
• Anime characters are not acceptable as celebrity look-alikes.

• Please do not stretch the page! It is really annoying and makes everything ugly. No larger then 500x500 please!
  
• Try to keep your avatar an acceptable size, otherwise it will be resized, anyway.
  
• No child Pbs under the age of 13
  
• No nudity, please. Not everyone wants to see that kind of thing, thanks!

[/li][li]The following applies upon breaking rules:

• If you break a rule, you will be warned, and points (among other things) will be taken from you (and your house).
  
• If you break a rule again, you will be banned for a week.
  
• If you break a rule again after being banned before, you will be banned permanently and/or deleted.
