I think him and Davey-wavey here would get along just fine. ;D I can't really think of any plots at the moment for the two of them, but yeah. They'd be pretty good buds by the sounds of that.

Davey's sixteen, going on seventeen. He's big on Wizard's chess, academic studies and he's also on the Quidditch Team. Does that fit in with Elric at all?

If you guys are up for a Ravenclaw party, then I'd like to submit the Professor here for consideration. Elric probably could possibly (depending on age) have been one of Flitwick's students, and Davey certainly is.

So, Ravenclaws bonding over nerdiness and geeking out over all sorts of cool stuff. What'd you guys think?
