The Government may allow our councils to evict people from their council homes if they are associated with the riots, this is good news for people like me, who have been waiting years for affordable rentable homes and are on a waiting list! yay! I hope this comes about, serves the criminals right.

It is often the Law abiding citizens that suffer in these situations and it's about time we came up on top.

I've spent the day at Burghley House in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Learnt a few things about Sir William Cecil that I didn't know such as Cecil is actually pronounced "Sissel" and that Antonio Verrio's paintings of the Heaven Room and the Hell Staircase are the among the finest in Europe, comparable to the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican.
